Constructed from heavy-duty steel covered with a white powder-coated finish, this charging tower provides safe, secure storage. Devices and their power adapters are stored in separate compartments. The front door and top panel both lock with included keys to help prevent theft, damage and tampering. Strategically placed bars down the sides prevent anyone from sliding a Chromebook out of the locked tower. The top panel allows access to the upper outlets and power adapters. A 15-amp circuit breaker protects the devices against overloads.

The CST32AC is compatible with a wide array of mobile devices, including Chromebooks, iPads, Android tablets, Surface tablets, Kindle e-readers and other mobile devices with screen sizes up to 16 inches. Power cords are routed through cable management slots to keep them organized and prevent tangles. Each shelf comes with a numbered sticker for easy identification and is specially coated to help prevent device scratches and scuffs. The towers' 10-foot cords with NEMA 5-15P plugs allow great flexibility in placing the units near an AC wall outlet.

Secure the Towers to a Wall or Move Your Devices from Room to Room

Mount the charging stations on a wall with the included brackets and user-supplied hardware. If you prefer the flexibility to roll the towers from one room to another, an optional caster kit (CSTCASTERKIT16, sold separately) includes four casters, mounting platform, handles and a locking rear door.

The U280-016-RMINT 16-Port USB Charging Station charges and syncs up to 16 tablets, smartphones and other USB-equipped devices at the same time. Recommended for schools, offices and other environments where multiple USB devices are used, this unit provides up to 5V, 2.4A (12W) of power to each port-plenty for charging battery-intensive devices like the iPad®, iPod®, iPhone® and Android® tablets and smartphones. LED indicators signal the ports in use.

This 16-port charging station supports USB 2.0 data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps and is backward compatible with previous USB generations. To keep up with current technology, a mini-USB firmware port enables software upgrades that allow the charging station to support newer devices.

In addition to charging, the U280-016-RMINT syncs any USB device using its compatible software-Apple® iTunes® or Apple Configurator, for instance. An included USB cable attaches to the unit's USB-B port and the USB-A port on a computer for syncing purposes.

The durable steel housing mounts in 2U of an EIA-standard 19-inch rack using the included hardware. ARCHITECT'S SPECIFICATION

The charger shall be network-enabled and shall be capable of simultaneously charging up to two handheld and/or bodypack transmitters of the Sennheiser EW-DX series. A colored LED at each charging bay shall indicate charge status.

The charger shall have an RJ-45 network socket and shall support the Media Control Protocol to provide for remote control and status monitoring via the Sennheiser Control Cockpit software or a media control system.

The charger shall operate on 12 V DC input voltage supplied from an external power supply unit. The input current shall be maximum 1 A. Charging voltage shall be 4.35 V, charging current shall be max. 860 mA per charging bay. The charger shall also operate on Power over Ethernet (PoE IEEE 802.3af Class 0).
